Our trainers have passed criminal background screenings administered by Federal, State, and local agencies. We are certified by USA Boxing and have completed the USA Safe Sport Training. Our staff includes members of the Military Veterans community, medical nursing community, and Social Service communities.

Head Coach
Jason Mata has over 25 years of boxing experience. He learned the art of boxing from his late father Carlos "Charlie" Mata who had an extensive amateur and Professional boxing career.
Jason has received several awards for his long-standing work with youth and young adults in San Antonio, Texas, and surrounding communities.
His accolades include:
USA Boxing registered coach (has cleared criminal background from Federal, State, and local authorities). (since 2004)
Person of the Year (2012)- Charlie Gonzales Award presented by Westside Chamber of Commerce
Jefferson Award - National award (2012) - presented by News 4 San Antonio
